Analyzing results

High delivery, low read rate

  • Template content may not be engaging
  • Subject/header doesn't grab attention
  • Sent at wrong time of day

High failure rate

  • Invalid phone numbers in your list
  • Messaging limit reached
  • Account connection issues

Good read rate, low response

  • Template doesn't have a clear CTA
  • No buttons for easy interaction
  • Content is informational (not conversational)

Comparing campaigns

Look at trends across multiple campaigns:

  • Which templates perform best?
  • Which segments have highest engagement?
  • What time of day gets best read rates?

Tips

  1. A/B test templates — Send two versions to small groups, then scale the winner
  2. Track over time — Build a spreadsheet of campaign metrics
  3. Segment analysis — Compare performance across different audience segments
  4. Optimize send time — Test different times and track read rates
  5. Clean your lists — Remove contacts that consistently fail
