Managing WhatsApp Business accounts
AIsoule supports multiple WhatsApp Business numbers. Here's how to manage them.
Viewing your accounts
Go to Settings → WhatsApp Accounts to see all connected numbers with:
- Account name
- Phone Number ID
- Status (active/inactive)
- Default flags (incoming/outgoing)
Adding a new account
Via Embedded Signup (recommended)
- Click "Connect via Facebook"
- Complete the Meta Embedded Signup flow
- Account is automatically configured
Manual setup
- Click "Add Account"
- Enter credentials from Meta Developer Console
- Save and test connection
See Connecting your WhatsApp number for detailed steps.
Account settings
Click on any account to configure:
Basic settings
- Account Name — Friendly name for identification
- API Version — Usually
v21.0(latest) - Auto Read Receipt — Automatically mark messages as read
Default flags
- Default Incoming — This account receives incoming messages
- Default Outgoing — This account is used for sending messages
If you have multiple accounts, set one as default for each direction.
Business Calling
- Business Calling Enabled — Toggle ON only after Meta enrolls your number in the Calling API
Testing your connection
- Open the account
- Click "Test Connection"
- You'll see:
- ✅ Connection successful — with phone number and quality rating
- ❌ Connection failed — with error details
Webhook configuration
Each account has a unique webhook verify token. Configure in Meta:
- Copy the Webhook URL shown in AIsoule
- Copy the Verify Token
- Go to Meta App Dashboard → WhatsApp → Configuration
- Paste both values
- Subscribe to message events
Subscribing to webhooks
After configuring the webhook URL in Meta:
- Open the account in AIsoule
- Click "Subscribe"
- This registers your app to receive incoming messages
Deleting an account
- Open the account
- Click "Delete"
- Confirm
⚠️ Deleting an account disconnects it from AIsoule. Messages will no longer be received. The WhatsApp number itself is not affected — you can reconnect it later.
Multiple accounts
You can connect multiple WhatsApp numbers for:
- Different departments (Sales: +91-XXX, Support: +91-YYY)
- Different brands under one organization
- Testing (sandbox number + production number)
Each account has its own templates, webhook, and messaging limits.
