Bulk operations (assign, tag, delete)

Bulk operations
Perform actions on multiple contacts at once to save time.
Selecting contacts
- Go to the Contacts list
- Click the checkbox next to each contact you want to select
- Or use Shift+Click to select a range
- The selection toolbar appears at the top
Available bulk actions
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Assign | Assign all selected contacts to a specific agent |
| Add Tag | Add a tag to all selected contacts |
| Remove Tag | Remove a tag from all selected contacts |
| Change Stage | Move all selected to a new lifecycle stage |
| Delete | Permanently delete all selected contacts |
How to use
- Select your contacts (checkboxes)
- The toolbar shows: "X contacts selected"
- Click the action button (Assign, Tag, Stage, Delete)
- Confirm the action
- Done — changes apply immediately
Limits
- Maximum 500 contacts per bulk operation
- For larger batches, use CSV import with "Update" mode
Tips
- Filter first, then select — Use search/tags to narrow down before selecting
- Double-check before delete — Bulk delete cannot be undone
- Use for onboarding — Bulk-assign new contacts to the right team
- Tag after import — Import contacts, then bulk-tag them by source
