1 minute read time Difficulty: beginner

Custom date ranges for reports

View analytics for any time period using the date range selector.

Using the date picker

  1. On any analytics page, find the date range selector (top-right)
  2. Choose a preset:
    • Last 7 days
    • Last 30 days
    • Last 90 days
  3. Or click "Custom" to pick specific dates

Custom range

  1. Click "Custom"
  2. Select a start date
  3. Select an end date
  4. Click Apply
  5. All metrics update for that period

Comparison

Most analytics show a comparison with the previous equivalent period:

  • If viewing "Last 7 days" → compares with the 7 days before that
  • Shows ↑ or ↓ percentage change

Tips

  1. Compare same day types — Week-over-week is more meaningful than random dates
  2. Use 30 days for trends — Smooths out daily fluctuations
  3. Use 7 days for recent — See what happened this week
  4. Custom for campaigns — Set the exact campaign dates to measure impact
